About the Movement
Organized strength across five states
Our Story
Born in Aba. Built across the South-East.
The South East Women Movement for Jagaban was established in 2025 and officially inaugurated in Aba, Abia State, the commercial heart of the region. It began as a grassroots coalition of women who believed the South-East deserved a stronger voice in shaping Nigeria’s political and economic future.
Guided by collective action, civic enlightenment, and focused advocacy, the movement now unites market women, professionals, and young organisers across all five South-East states under one shared vision of progressive governance
Regional Mandate
When women across the South East organize with structured purpose, our economic network and civic voice anchor long-term stability across Nigeria.

Creating pathways for women to grow through skills development, capacity building, financial inclusion, and community initiatives.
Teaching women about political participation, democratic processes, and their civic rights, so they can shape their communities with confidence.
